The sight of me doing the dishes as my father loads his washed clothes into the drier should only mean one thing: my mother is still not home. 🙂 She was not feeling well during the weekend, so she had the trip postponed to sometime on Wednesday. I hope she’s here when I wake up on Thursday morning, even if she’s not to cook a thanksgiving dinner. Chicken, mashed potato, and gravy from Kentucky Fried Chicken is good enough for me, if my mother is home to enjoy it with us.

(Did I hear someone say “Momma’s boy”?! Damn right I am! :D)
