Tuesday, October 12, 2004Here’s a piece of advice: if you have to take Chicano Studies 100 at CSUN, do not… I repeat… do NOT… take Professor Denise Sandoval. Sure, she’s a pretty thing to look at, but damn is she demanding! I got a long ass paper to write this weekend (aka “the midterm”), and I already sort of made a promise in class. Hehe, as she was giving out directions on how to go about writing this essay, she paused, looked straight at me and said “This is the time to write things down, not stare at me!” I responded that she was just reading the paper she had given us, which was clear enough for me. Up to that point things were still alright, but then I added, “Don’t worry, I’ll ace it.” Eek. Hehe. I bet she’d love the feeling of jotting a “C” on my essay, and I aim not to please her! On the other hand, do take Barbara Kroll for English/Linguistics courses. Stay away from, damn, I can’t remember his name. Well, ask me to look it up, if it’s that important to you. His name should be in my transcript, right next to my one and only “unauthorized withdrawal.” 😀 So, if you don’t hear from me in the next seven days… don’t panic, I’m still alive. Probably. 🙂 UPDATE: Guess who dropped by my guestbook? Posted by at 8:02 pm [Permalink]
