Tuesday, February 1, 2005Skoo has started. At least two of my four courses will be doing a lot of group activities. Oh, how I despise group activities. I hate not being able to contribute more than anyone else in the group. In fact, I’m usually the one who contributes the least in group activities. That’s not because I haven’t done the reading, or because I’m shy or lazy, it’s simply that I’m more of an individualist who lacks impromptu skills. I need time to gather my thoughts and arrange them in an order I best see fit. In addition to being a person who lacks impromptu skills, I also hold no views on things. Tell me that “Mexicans are lazy thugs,” and I’ll just shrug it off. I cannot, for the life of me, be moved even by a statement as drastic as that one. I let people think what they want, just as long as they abide by the following rule: your fist ends where my nose begins. Hmm, but maybe I’m wrong.
