Wednesday, March 24, 2004“O-four” we used to say, “o-four.” O-four was to be the year when we’d get married. The 24th day of March, 2004. Back then (spring of ’99), it seemed easy to say “o-four,” as it was almost five years into the future. We were each other’s most serious boyfriend/girlfriend up to that point, and that fooled us into thinking that we’d last an eternity together. What fools we were; me being the bigger fool of the two of us. The fool who loved when/who he shouldn’t have. For months of joy, I lived years of misery. It wasn’t worth it. Nothing is worth having to experience the pain I lived through. Nothing. Posted by at 12:00 am [Permalink]
