Friday, November 28, 2003Looking for my vaccinations record, I came across my high school yearbook (Granada Hills High School, Class of 1997). I saw the picture of the big-ass black dude who thought I was from a rival gang. A friend of his had seen me signing American Sign Language to some deaf schoolmates, and the retard thought they were gang signs. Me being a lover of excitement (sometimes 🙂 ), I didn’t try to explain to him that I wasn’t a gangster. So this guy wanted to settle business with me. I also came across the picture of some girls I had crushes on (mmm, Karen Seidman, Linda Conover), and some I disliked (eek, Rosemary Clubb). Then came a picture taken in a classroom where all the students did was fool around. I remembered that in that room I used to tease this guy. Poor guy. He hadn’t done anything to me. What the hell was wrong with me? We used to call him “Farritos Jr.”, as he was the only guy who seemed to pay attention to Mr. Farris, our physics teacher. Matt Azali used to create havoc in that class… he’d suddenly stand and gang-sign to me across the room, “Farritos X3, esse!” I haven’t seen anyone since high school, except for Shannon Robertson, another girl I liked. (Damn, too many crushes! :)) Mario saw Rosemary, and he tells me she wasn’t doing well. In HS, she was deemed smart and pretty… model material. Post high school, crack became her thing.
