Tuesday, March 2, 2004You know you’re appreciated at the school where you work when the assistant principal says to you, “How come you didn’t ask me to write a recommendation letter for you? Is it too late?” I needed to type one of the recommendation letters on letterhead paper (bearing the school logo and info), and instead of having the secretary at the school take care of it… the assistant principal took care of it herself. Flattering that she took time out of her busy day to do this for me. Oh, and as I was talking to the assistant principal, thanking her for going through all this trouble to help me, I wasn’t watching where I was going. Suddenly, I turned my head and encountered a young, playful teacher sticking out her right cheek, as if she had expected me to keep walking and bump into her. (She’s silly like that, I suppose. :)) Realizing I had turned my head in time to avert the clash, she chuckled and walked away. Posted by at 10:20 pm [Permalink]
