Friday, November 19, 2004My coworkers and I were lining up the first graders when a small group of them started singing, and some started to leave their formations to come give me a hug. Five kids turned to ten; ten turned to twenty; before I knew it, there were over 60 kids surrounding me and I was struggling to remain on my feet! It was disastrous! Well, disastrous only for me, it seems. My coworkers stood there, smiling, and the assistant principal just could not stop laughing at the sight of it. It really was a weird moment. It’s like all of a sudden safety and strictness had to take a back-seat because today was… Mr. Quiterio‘s birthday. Posted by at 7:54 pm [Permalink]
