Friday, January 23, 2004Written two hours ago… Holy mother of God! This is scary! 🙁 Took some pictures of me this morning… and damn… I went too far in my diet! Just added… And there was a good reason why I shed two tears when I reached the weight I deemed ideal for me. I sat down and reminisced on the sacrifices I had to make to get there. Those who followed me through my endeavor caught a good glimpse of it. For those who have not read about my dieting and jogging sessions and would like to get the details, go back to August 31st, 2003 and read any relevant entries made since then. It basically consisted of sending sodas and tortillas to hell (back then, both were integral parts of my life). Looking back, that alone would have done wonders, but in addition to that, I jogged 30 minutes on weekdays and played soccer on weekends. Going to the park became the thing to do before or after bed. All that led to this… Side-by-side pictures of me: On the left of each picture you can see me at around 185 pounds, back in July 29 of 2003. On the right side are shots of me taken today, weighing what my driver’s license had deceitfully stated since April of 2000… 145 pounds. (I see I’m more girlish than I thought — lying about my weight for my driver’s license?! Nah, I just had the wrong impression, is all. :)) Or if you’d rather have the belt tell the story… See the four holes between the leftmost hole (which I added recently!) and the hole where I secured the belt ? Yes, I know I went too far! Now the problem is that I don’t want to get too comfortable, by either starting to eat more, or exercising less. Don’t wanna let it get out of hand… again. Hey Dusky, even though we haven’t talked in ages, I just wanted to say that I’m glad everything’s going good for you. Also, I don’t think you went too far in your diet I think you look…..great. I’m happy that you reached your goal.:-) P.S. Congratulations on your first anniversary with the gf. 🙂

Letty, you touch an interesting point. Yeah, you’re right, it’s been ages since we’ve talked. You know how I am… always distracted… can’t hold a decent conversation with people. I’m aware of this, that’s why I don’t even try to contact you and other avid visitors of my site. (The fact that I’m too good is besides the point! 😀 )
Letty, I appreciate your dropping by my site. You’re one of the visitors I keep an eye out for. When you go days without visiting, I wonder if everything is alright with you. Then when you show up again, boom, I know all is well.
